Technology and comfort are seeing as the most important indicators of progress and evolution in the contemporary society. Obtaining and accumulating material stuff make us feel secure and powerful. We want to control our lives through the use of our inventions, but to keep such a standard of living seems not realistic because the resources of our planet are limited. Therefore, we must change our way of living since we are destroying our habitat.
Most people in society enjoy the benefits of material comfort without thinking on the damage that we produce to the environment. Industry, technology, and mechanic devices make our lives more easy, but they generate a silent an lethal pollution. Emissions of gases, plastic and garbage are suffocating our planet. In fact, we are poisoning the air, the water and ourselves.
Climate change and pollution are affecting the life of all beings in the planet Earth. In order to save our home and to keep our forests, oceans, deserts and cities I propose that:
We must develop solar power as a source of energy.
We must stop using disposable products as plastic.
We must ban war and the use or any weapon.
We must get rid of politics, capitalism and exploitation.
We must get rid of religion, racism and corruption.
We must have equality between the sexes.
We must have equality between the sexes.
On the other hand:
We should do things that make us happy.
We should eat healthy and practice wellness.
We should see more sunrises, sunsets and night sky.
We should be thankful for what we have and love our family and friends more.
We must change our way of thinking and start relating progress with spiritual development.
If we adopt this new philosophy of live, we could embrace an ideal future. Otherwise, we are running
into self destruction.
